The Miroku Field & Game Limited Edition Model 10 Sport
In 2009 Miroku released a limited edition shotgun to mark the 50th anniversary of Field and Game Australia. The Miroku Field & Game Limited Edition Model 10 Sport is distributed by Highland Sports and is one of the finest firearms to be released onto the Australian market in many years.
As well as taking enormous care to ensure each shotgun is beautifully presented, Highland Sports donated three special guns to Field and Game Australia.
There are only 250 of the individually numbered, Limited Edition Miroku MK10 Grade 8 Sporter Shotgun available in the world. Gun numbers 001, 100 and 250 have been donated to Field and Game Australia.
This specially made MK10 is presented with very fine game scene engraving and gold inlay. It’s features surpass all ideals of what a high quality shotgun should entail:
-
5 Briley series 54 chokes (Cyl, Imp Cyl, Light Mod, Imp Mod and Mod) plus Briley accessories;
-
Back bored, 3” chamber;
-
Available in 32”, 30” or 28”;
-
Steel-shot proof;
-
Walnut stock and Schnabel forend with checkering;
-
Nameplate;
-
Palm swell;
-
Miroku Deluxe kick pad and
-
deluxe gun case.
If your local gun dealer has one of these on the shelf, take the time to put some of your fingerprints on it.
In the meantime Field and Game have raffled the first of the three guns donated by Managing Director of Highland Sports, Mr John Fuller. Members purchasing a Field and Game limited edition Gun Case in 2010 will automatically go into the draw for the second gun – number 100.
The Highland Sports team have been extremely supportive of Field and Game Australia for many years.
Victorian Manager, Stewart Leach did the honours drawing the first gun raffle. Stewart and Highland Sports Assistant Marketing Executive Susan Fisher were busy flying the company flag at the 2009 Field and Game National Carnival held in Wodonga.
